Location: Bergson’s 1790 Restaurant & Tavern, 208 Turnpike Road (Route 9 eastbound)
This evening’s presentation will take place at the historical Bergson’s 1790 Restaurant & Tavern, which is listed on the National register of Historic Places in the United States. The house has eight working fireplaces, each with a unique surround built by different carpenters of that time. Tonight, Melissa will be designing a mantel in silks everlasting in a New England colonial theme, a fresh harvest theme for the current season and one for year round which will include live plants.
Note: If you have a special mantelpiece and would like some advice on how to show it off best, please bring it along.
