2011 President’s Message

Work….PLAY….Grow

The Westborough Garden Club’s beautiful community gardens are enjoyed by all throughout our town. They are evidence of the dedication of our members’ hard work as they “toil in the soil.” We thank all of our members for making these gardens thrive each year. Although we work hard together, it often feels like PLAY, as we enjoy each other’s company in our gardens, meetings and events. The Garden Club Meetings are a great place to share and learn together. We have a wonderful group of members with a wide range of experience in gardening.

We are looking forward to our year ahead. Through our vision of work…play…and…grow, we have great plans for 2011. Come work with us as we beautify our community and achieve our fundraising goals. We will continue the success of our annual spring Plant Sale and annual Holiday Program, which support our mission to raise funds for scholarships, and educate and beautify our community. PLAY! with us as we attend various fun-filled social events together. Grow with us as we nurture plants, as well as friendships! We encourage our members to invite friends to our meetings, as we also look to grow our membership in 2011.
